'Monster Hunter' Kpinga (2021)

Another Conan Exiles Mod asset commission, for a 'monster hunter Dafari' concept. This weapon is a Kpinga or 'Hunga Munga', a Nubian throwing weapon. I wanted to draw from the culture and incorporated rough trade-beads and rough twine wrappings along the handle. Most of this piece was done in 3ds Max but the twine was adjusted in Zbrush.
